KAOS-U / Cookies!
The morning dawned bright and clear, a glorious day, as yet unmarred by explosions, mangled corpses, or science gone wrong. Not that Pierce noticed the daylight. He'd been up all night and was now sitting in the kitchen. There was a webwork of wires crawling along his face and head, contact pads looking like little feet all across his skin while he contemplated...a plate of cookies.
These were ideal cookies. Cookies that defined every kids' dream of chocolate chip; large, soft, tempting. The smell alone would make a weaker man tremble at the knee!
And he hadn't touched them yet because he wanted to make sure all the senses were registering properly and that anticipation readings could be taken as well. Was it any wonder he was a little zoned out?

"And not a problem at all Dilan, what kind of meat are you in the mood for? And I'll keep most the veggies out." Aya admitted. Turkish Delight? "Mmm, dessert."
"Wait, gummy bear, singular?" Maya blinked, catching that.

Then the boxes of turkish delight; one rose and one orange. Then the hookah. Then the electric cat toy.

Maya was...staring. Staring then poking the bear yes. "You spoil us you know."
no subject
"Oh. I'm sorry."
"Nah, it's okay. Kiss me?" there was kiss, of course, then,
"Oh! And this. It was pretty." a length of sari silk, in a soft rose.
no subject
"Hmmm, too nice to do that, comfy as it'd be." Maya countered, opening up the delight boxes to peer at them gleefully.
no subject
"That's a good idea, Dilan. It'll look nice there."
no subject
"Roommates and pets aside," Maya chuckled. "Color is nice when it's been a long day you know?"

"Oh, ouch, Pierce didn't sleep again?" Maya noted, watching the Cat delivery.
no subject
"Yeah. Don't know how long, but he was babbling."
no subject
"Babbling is bad. Maybe we can slip him sleep pills more often. Aya? What do you think? Drug Pierce so he remembers to sleep? If we serve some low level stuff in his desserts it should just remind him he's tired..."
Aya blinked. "Maya, you'll ask his permission first."
no subject
"Nah, he's got a resistance to most sleeping pills. Cat's the best bet."
no subject
"We're on first aid shift Friday night. Remember that starts this week?" Newbies manning tents for drunken idiots and people who managed to blow off fingers in the night.
"Right. Saturday night?"
no subject
"Lets plan on it." Braig said, "I'll even stay up and watch some, okay dude?"
no subject
"Pizzas?" Maya offered after a moment of thought. "Or fun snacks?"
no subject
"Dude, I'll give them money. Pizza sounds good to me, though."
no subject
"Addict," Maya said fondly. "We'll grab some mashed potatoes too. And a pie."

"Somebody bop her, I'm busy." Aya snorted.

"I didn't even get to sob at anyone's feet! Spoilsport!"

"You're a dork Maya. Braig, your omelet is cooling and Dilan, yours is ready if you want to get back up." And fetch her a plate!
no subject
"Mmm, thanks Aya. No, Maya, I won't flail. I've seen worse!"
no subject
"Don't let her fool you, she likes watching people panic at a teary blond." Aya noted, setting in to cook her own meal.
